Dr Allie Hare
Dr Allie Hare is a consultant in sleep and respiratory medicine at the Royal Brompton Hospital London, where she treats private and NHS patients; she is also an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Imperial College, London.
Dr Allie Hare graduated from Selwyn College, University of Cambridge in 1999, she then completed her postgraduate training at Imperial College London in 2002. She continued with postgraduate training in respiratory and general medicine in London at St Mary’s Hospital, St Thomas’ Hospital and the Royal Free Hospital.
Dr Allie Hare completed a Master’s in Clinical Education in 2013, and due to her work on the assessment of clinical competence was awarded a distinction. She has also completed postgraduate training in medical leadership and management as part of the prestigious Darzi Fellowship scheme.
Dr Allie Hare has clinical expertise in sleep disorders including;
- Sleep Apnoea
- Restless Legs Syndrome
- Periodic Limb Movement Disorder
Dr Allie Hare is able to provide the following treatments in relation to these sleep disorders including
- Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Insomnia (CBTi)
- Continuous Positive Airways Pressure (CPAP) for Sleep Apnoea
- Medical therapies for Restless Legs and the Periodic Limb Movement Disorder
